AIR believes ‘technology for good’ can leverage innovation and scale to redress issues of gender equity, racial equity, green finance and financial inclusion in emerging markets.

Founded by Jo Ann Barefoot and David Ehrich, AIR supports a strong regulatory system and advocates for its digital modernization, necessary to effectively regulate an industry that has already been transformed by technology.

World Changing Ideas

Fast Company magazine’s 2021 World Changing Ideas awards have selected the AIR Accelerator as an Honorable Mention. We competed against 4,000 projects from throughout the world across transportation, education, food, politics, technology, and more. AIR argued that the financial regulatory sector must digitize to achieve the world-changing goal of truly fair finance. Our entry featured our TechSprint on combatting use of cryptocurrency to purchase online child sexual abuse imagery.
