Mesha plays a critical role in developing AIR’s events strategy. She helps lead the planning, logistics and execution of conferences, TechSprints, webinars, issue panels and other convenings that advance innovation initiatives.
An experienced events organizer, Mesha has managed and marketed conferences for over six years, including in a previous role as project manager for the Financial Health Network. She establishes “key performance indicators” (KPIs) for each event, recruits speakers, communicates with stakeholders and serves as an onsite liaison. Her goal is to ensure events tell a story that is compelling for the intended audience.
Consistent with AIR’s mission, Mesha is motivated to make a positive difference, and sees the big picture of how innovation in the regulatory sector impacts people served by the financial system. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Information Systems, both from Robert Morris University, and is the owner of Nice2Mesha Consulting, LLC, an events and conference management company. Born and raised in Chicago, Mesha currently resides in Dallas, and still finds new adventures in both cities. She loves to meet new people, travel and try new foods.
