Ethan joined AIR’s TechSprints team in late 2022. He works with a diverse group of partner organizations and other stakeholders to develop, launch and facilitate TechSprints and other innovation-focused programs.
A mechanical engineer by training, Ethan combines objective, data-driven thinking with innovation management experience centered on human outcomes. Before joining AIR, he used hackathons, design thinking and other approaches to spur innovation initiatives at numerous private companies, including Constant Contact, AMICA Mutual Insurance and J.J. Keller & Associates. As a design and quality engineer, he previously helped manufacturing teams build products ranging from consumer robotics to aircraft sensors.
Ethan earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a master’s in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. both from Northeastern University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and Olive (his cocker spaniel-poodle mix), traveling to new places, photography, and running. He tries to be outdoors whenever possible.
