Job Description

Our fast growing nonprofit is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented project manager to join our small but mighty team. The TechSprint Manager will collaborate with a variety of global partners to plan and execute individual TechSprints. Successful TechSprint execution requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship building, and detailed project management skills. The Manager will work with partners on end-to-end delivery including: organize brainstorming sessions with partners to identify goals, scope and problem statements; draft and refine problem statements and use cases; identify data requirements and sources; select and set up various technical platforms; recruit and communicate with participants; and produce a series of events. TechSprints usually culminate in a Demo Day where the competing teams present their prototypes to a panel of judges. Producing the Demo Day often includes hosting a conference or webinar, as well as recruiting and managing speakers and judges.

TechSprints can be held either in-person or virtually, and the candidate should be prepared to operate in either environment.

This individual will also help the AIR team to refine our TechSprint strategy including the development of tools and resources that assist us in guiding clients through the TechSprint planning process, as well as enabling us to elevate the quality and efficiency of the events we produce.
